Abstract

The invention relates to a moulded hard metal item, in particular a screwdriver point (bit) containing tungsten carbide. Said moulded hardmetal item contains 55-85 mass % sintered tungsten carbide whose grain size ranges from 0.1 to 6.0 mu m and 15 - 45 mass % of a binder. Said binder contains at least 50 mass % iron, 2-40 mass % cobalt and 5-40 mass % nickel.
