Abstract

The fuel cell has a cooling device to cool a stack (1) of cells by forced heat exchange with a heat transfer gas e.g. air, obtained from a gaseous flow generator (2) e.g. fan, along a flow axis (A). A diffuser insert (3) is arranged between the cell stack and the generator, and has static blades (13) to reduce heterogeneity of the gas flow. The generator has rotating blades (12) connected to a rotating hub (22). The static blades are bent for redirecting a part of the gas flow moved away from the axis towards a zone of the flow closer to the axis, where the axis passes via the hub.
