Abstract
The invention relates to a controllable, non-locking semiconductor switching element (1) which comprises two switching terminals (2, 3) between which a connecting line (1') is positioned, as well as a control terminal (4). The connecting line (1') can be controlled via the control terminal (4) to have a low or high resistance. According to the invention a rise in a switching element voltage (US) which drops at the level of the switching terminals (2, 3) is detected. The connecting line (1') is controlled such that it presents a high resistance if the rise exceeds a threshold value.
