Abstract
Pressure measurements taken in a feed system containing the pump are apportioned by an evaluator to capacities determined during initial measuring. Capacity is determined by using the pressure build-up of the pump rotor (5), which is not influenced by pump housing (1) and any guide devices. The build-up is measured at a point near the pump rotor outlet on the pump pressure side and in front of the entry into flow guidance parts. Pressure sensors (7,10) on pressure and suction sides of the rotor are connected to the evaluator (9).
