Abstract

The local chip is updated if the timeliness identification does not correspond to the timeliness requirement. The location of vehicle uses updated local chip. Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) a vehicle, particularly a rail-mounted vehicle (2) a computer program, which is stored on a data carrier and has a program code.
