Abstract
The vacuum pressure casting plant has a mold (1a,1b), a casting chamber (2), a piston (3), an exhaust valve (4), a casting plant controller (8) and a vacuum system (12). A molded inlet pipe measuring head (10) is arranged on a molded vacuum inlet pipe (22) and a container measuring head (15), is arranged on a buffer container (14) for measuring the pressure. The molded inlet pipe measuring head and container measuring head stays in connection with a vacuum plant controller (7) so that vacuum technical parameter of the vacuum pressure casting plant is determined. An independent claim is also included for a method for operating a vacuum pressure casting plant, particularly for vacuum pressure casting of metals and their alloys.
