Abstract

The disclosure relates to a sliding wall or window section which comprises a frame (3, 4) with an outer and an inner frame portion (7, 8; 11, 12) of metal. The frame portions (7, 8; 11, 12) are united to one another by the intermediary of spacers (9, 10; 13, 14) of a material of poor thermal conductivity, and a panel-shaped element (5, 6), for example a sealed glazing unit, which is secured in the frame (3, 4).
