Abstract
The brake has a brake beam (6) of a rail brake, which is rotatably supported on a carrier plate (5). A U-shaped ferromagnetic trough body is fastened in a hanging manner at a base of a drive rail, where the base is inclined outwards. A base plate and a side blade of the U-shaped ferromagnetic trough body are connected with one another. Dimensions of the carrier plate and the brake beam are larger than the free spacing between two adjacent sleepers (10) of a track system in a direction of a longitudinal axis of rails.
