Abstract
1. Tensioning fastener in which a rotary movement of an operating member (3) in relation to an axis of rotation is converted into a linear tensioning displacement component (S) of a pair of locking members (9, 11) moved in opposite directions, said locking members (9, 11) being pivotally mounted on the operating member (3) and supported in the working position one against the other by respective supporting surfaces (13, 15), characterized in that in the working position the supporting surfaces (13, 15) are supported one against the other at right angles to the direction of the linear tensioning displacement component (S), in such a manner that the stressing of the locking members (9, 11) in the direction of the component (S) is taken by the supporting surfaces (13, 15).
