Abstract
The device has pollution control units disposed in the exhaust line of a diesel engine (1) of a motor vehicle comprising an additive tank (10) and a fuel tank (2). A metering pump (13) and an injector (14) are connected to the tanks. An electronic control case (20) controls the pump and the injector to inject the additives. The case is associated to moving conditions analyzing units (30) of the vehicle to control the pump and the injector, so as to adapt the additive concentration in the fuel to the conditions favorable or unfavorable to the regeneration of the pollution control units.
