Abstract

The device has a memory in which abnormality conditions are stored, a pressure sensor (200), and a gas bubble detection sensor (300), where each condition has a specific combination of measurement results of pressure, temperature and rate of bubbles. A signal processing unit (400) compares the sensors` measurements with pre-recorded abnormality conditions to identify an appearance of a condition in a cooling system (50). An independent claim is also included for a process for monitoring a cooling system of a heat engine of a motor vehicle.
