Abstract

A housing 10 containing lamps is closed by a front window 14 consisting of a frame within a translucent flexible sheet 22 of display material stretched across it. The frame has an upper side 40 and a lower side 40a formed as extrusions and is hinged along its upper edge to the housing 10 by engagement of rib 84 in groove 80. The flexible sheet 22 is wrapped around bars 106 which are held in slots in support members 60. Tightening of bolts 62 attaching the support members 60 to the frame members 40 tensions the sheet 22. Braces 311 connected by a tube 316 strengthen the frame.
