Abstract
Fitted in a safety switch (SS), a module casing (MC) (9) retains a bimetallic spring (10) so as to compensate for surrounding temperature as well as a part of a coupler mechanism (CM) (8) for an excess-current release device (ECRD). The MC controls a link for the CM and an arm on a releasing lever (5) for the ECRD. The arm works together with a switch latch on the SS. Independent claims are also included for (a) an excess-current release with an adjusting module and (b) a safety switch with an excess-current release.
