The invention concerns an improved cylindrical brush ring assembly, that is constructed of axial brush rings (1) placed against each other, in which the brush rings, according to the invention consist of a core part (2, 2 1 ) with stepped adjustment possibilities (5-4, 4-3, 3-5 and 5 1- 4 1 , 4 1 -3 1 and 3 1 -5 1 ) in order to at least form a very dens cylindrical sweeping brush assembly for a sweeping machine, a general dense cylindrical sweeping brush assembly or a very open cylindrical sweeping brush assembly, through which in a very surprising way and for each sweeping condition a very suitable cylindrical sweeping brush assembly is created for brush diameters mostly varying from 200 mm to approximately 1500 mm.
