Abstract

The suction pressure limiter is arranged on the cylinder head cover (1) and comprises a deformable membrane (4) moved under the action of the suction pressure existing in the engine sump in order to prevent the re-aspiration of the oil into the inlet in the event of a strong suction pressure. The cover has an opening enabling the introduction of oil into the sump which is intended to be blocked by a filler plug (3). The membrane is fixed on the removable oil filler plug and engages with a movable part (5) in the cylinder head cover and blocks a gas evacuation channel (7,8,9) made in the cover according to the displacements of the membrane.
