Abstract

The operating light is composed of a number of hexagonal modules [1] that form a dish shaped unit with light [4] focussed onto a surface. Each module has a number of light sources, such as light emitting diodes, LED. An obstruction [2] in the centre may occur causing a shadow and for this the centre module [1f] output may be dimmed or turned off.
