Abstract
The probe has retaining units (17a, 17b, 20a, 20b) brought in contact with a measuring tube and a displacement transducer detecting an opposite space of the retaining units. An evaluation unit evaluates obtained measured values. The units are adjusted perpendicular to longitudinal direction of the probe and radial to the tube and are stretched radially outward against an inner wall of the tube under the effect of springs (18, 21).
