Abstract

Device for conditioning a pot-shaped grinding wheel (1) of a grinding machine for grinding workpieces comprises at least two linear drives (7, 8) adjacently arranged on a carriage (4) parallel to the grinding wheel axis (18) and having on their end regions a tool (9, 10) attached so that it can be placed against and removed from the circular processing surface (11) of the grinding wheel. The first tool (9) attached to the first linear drive (7) is a tool for carrying out one part of the conditioning of the processing surface and the second tool (10) attached to the second linear drive (8) is a tool for carrying out a further part of the conditioning of the processing surface.
