Abstract
A preset common process variable is sent directly to machine controllers (28-30). The preset common process variable is controlled based on deviation of preset common process variable and an actual value associated with the variable sensed at the particular machine unit exclusively via the machine controllers associated with the particular machine unit. The machine unit of each turbo engine with a drive machine (4-6), with which a machine controller is associated, is formed after presetting a process variable common to all turbo engines (1-3) of a station. An Independent claim is also included for a control system for turbo engines.
