Abstract
The alarm has a housing, a pyro sensor with an arrangement for focusing thermal radiation from the monitored room and incident on the alarm onto the pyro sensor and evaluation electronics for the pyro sensor signal. The focusing elements are divided into a sub-elements in the azimuthal and/or elevation direction to form monitoring areas in the monitoring space with partly overlapping sub zones with sub-zones (Fn, F'n) of different signal weight.
