Abstract

1. A travelling track correcting machine (1) comprising a track lifting unit provided on the machine frame (2) and designed to be actuated by a drive with the aid of a reference system and at least one blowing unit (24) comprising a support frame (28) connected to the machine frame (2) for at least one injection tube (25) designed to penetrate into the ballast bed on the left and right of the rail (5) on one longitudinal side of the particular sleeper (6) after step-by-step advance and to be charged with the bedding material from a storage container (35) for blowing in additional bedding material, such as ballast, chippings or the like, said injection tube (25) comprising at outlet opening (79) at its tapered lower end in its flattened side facing the sleeper (6) and being designed for vertical displacement by a drive connected to a control unit (39) and a metering unit (33) connected to a drive (53) being arranged between the storage container (35) and the injection tube (25) to dispense a quantity of ballast measured in accordance with the prescribed degree of lift, characterized in that the blowing unit (24) comprises a support frame (28) with the two injection tubes (25) vertically displaceable relative thereto, which support frame is connected to a drive (27) for displacement transversely of the track and in that the injection tubes (25) are designed for independent vertical and longitudinal displacement and are connected to their own vertical and longitudinal displacement drives (31, 32) and are also connected to their own metering units (33) designed to be actuated by a drive (53), the control unit (39) being designed for independent actuation of the drives of each injection tube and each metering unit.
