Abstract

Hollow body (3) with orifice (2) sealed by a check valve (4) form a pressurised gas capsule, e.g. for whipping cream. The valve has a valve body (5), sealed to the hollow body, with a longitudinal bore (6), in which a valve pin (9) is accommodated. The valve pin has a thickened truncated cone-shaped end (10) of the side of the hollow body which interacts with a complementary-shaped constriction (8) in the bore in a first limit position. In a second limit position, the pin abuts a stop formed by a projection (12) into the longitudinal bore. Preferably the projection has a rounded shape in the longitudinal axis direction of the bore. The valve pin is preferably of a corrosion-resistant metallic material.
