Abstract
The present invention provides a purifying agent having an effect of removing or decomposing toxic substances contained in flue gas or incinerated ash. The purifying agent of the present invention contains one or more kinds of salts selected from alkali metal silicates, fluoride ion, hydrogencarbonate ion, and water-soluble alcohols or derivatives thereof. <IMAGE>
