Abstract
A superconductor, covered with an UV cross-linked synthetic lacquer insulation (4), is new. A superconductor, consisting of a conductor structure (3) which comprises superconductive cores embedded in normally conductive material, is covered with an UV cross-linked synthetic lacquer insulation (4). An Independent claim is also included for a method of insulating the above conductor.
