Abstract
The detector has at least one ionization electrode (4), at least two mutually insulated counter electrodes (1,3), which are components of a measurement chamber and a reference chamber and each contain a gas vol., and at least one power supply. The ionization electrode is made in one piece and extends through the measurement and reference chambers. An Independent claim is also included for a method of operating an ionization smoke detector.
