Abstract
The invention relates to a method for adjusting the dynamic soft reduction of continuous casting systems, in particular when casting slabs. The method consists in calculating the position of the edge of the crater, in addition to the proportion of solids and liquids in the casting roller and in adjusting one or several guiding segments of the casting roller according to the positional change of the edge of the crater.
