Abstract

1. A gas boiler of the sealed type with a vent, comprising an extractor fan for drawing off the combustion products and a temperature sensor for detecting an increase in temperature, this sensor actuating the said extractor fan when it reaches its engaging temperature so as to evacuate the combustion products, characterized in that the temperature sensor (6) is positioned above the boiler pilot light (7) on the boiler suction hood (2) holding the extractor fan (3) to detect an increase in temperature due to the operation of the pilot light (7), to actuate the extractor fan in a known way and to ensure cyclic scavenging of the combustion chamber.
