Abstract

The dimmer includes a first driver and final stage (3) with an output (I.1) for the connection of a first lamp or another load, and a second driver and final stage (4) with an output (II.1) for the connection of a second lamp or a second load. A common control arrangement (6) is provided for the control of both driver and final stages. A micro-controller is preferably provided as the control arrangement, and the dimmer is preferably executed as a basic instrument, on which different operating element (7, 8) with potentiometers (71, 72) or sensors (81, 82) are selectively plugged.
