Abstract

1. A method for the production of corrugated cardboard in which a preheated and moistened paper web (13) is corrugated in a transverse direction in the nip of two heated corrugation rolls (10, 11) in mesh with each other and in which glue is applied onto the corrugated web while further remaining in the grooves of the second corrugation roll for the purpose of subsequent adhesion to a covering web (15) which is pressed against the corrugated web by means of a heated pressure roll (12), characterized in that a fast-curing adhesive which cures essentially without any deposits is incorporated in the paper web or applied thereto before corrugation which keeps the corrugated web in the grooves of the second corrugation roll (11) by temporary adhesion.
