Abstract

1. An apparatus for generating steam for a cubicle (10) for steam baths, comprising a mixing chamber (32) with an inlet opening (44) for fresh air, a connecting tube (36) for circulating air, and a delivery opening (46) for introducing the air/steam mixture into the cubicle (10), characterized in that the apparatus comprises a steam generator (31) which is connected to the mixing chamber (32) by way of a supply tube (34), the steam generator (31) being constructed in such a way that a supersaturated air/steam mixture is produced in the mixing chamber (32).
