Abstract

Device for closing a door (1), in particular a door comprised of glass, in which a tube (2) extends across almost the full height of the door (1), said tube being situated at some distance from the door and being connected to it by means of at least two connecting members (4). A spagnolet fastener (16) has been mounted in the tube and can be actuated by means of a lock (21) located in a support structure (22) extending through the door (1) from the tube (2). At the other side of the door than where the tube is located, the door is provided with a rod (3) serving as handle, which rod can have the same length as the tube and is mounted at some distance from the door by means of spacer members (5).
