Abstract

The ventilation fan humidity sensor (13) is positioned within the natural air flow, for controlling the electric drive motor for the fan, in dependence on the humidity level within the room. The fan is contained in a housing (2) which has a natural air flow path (12) separate from the forced air flow path (14) provided by the fan, in which the humidity sensor is contained. Pref. the air flows through the natural air flow path due to thermal currents.
