Abstract

The backrest has a curved shell (1) which may hold a cushion. There are two rows of engagement clips (4) on either side of the two tubular frame members (2). The engagement members have teeth on their edges which may be bent over to engage rectangular holes (6) near the edges of rectangular cover plates or fastening plates (5). There are recesses (3) in the shell for the backrest and there are holes in the frame tubes near their ends to accommodate locking pins.
