Abstract
The invention concerns a socket comprising a plurality of contact regions (7) which are disposed hyperbolically in a contact section (1) of the socket for electrically contacting a plug part which can be coupled to the socket. The socket is formed in one part and in particular is produced from an integral stamped part (15) which is curved into the shape of the socket.
