Abstract

The mounting attaches a panel (11), especially of glass, to a mounting plate (8) which is fixed to a building wall. The panel is clamped between first (4) and second (9) rests, and the former, as well as the plate, have holes to accept a threaded bolt (18). The head of the bolt forms the second rest. The other end of the bolt engages in the spigot (2) of a threaded plate (1), which can also be inserted into the first rest. A stop (6) for the mounting plate is fitted to the first rest, or to the threaded plate. Both the stop and the spigot engage through the same or separate holes (7,7') in the mounting plate, which allow a free play, but are not large enough to allow a complete rotation. The spigot and the first rest are slightly conical, and can move relative to the mounting plate while gripping one another, until the screw is tightened.
