Abstract

Freeze dryer plant having a pressure chamber (2) containing at least one vertically movable plate (4) to receive vessels (32) containing the product. There is a vertical adjusting device (6) held on an outer wall (14) of the chamber in contact with the plate (4) to move the plates vertically. The adjusting device (6) and the plates (4) are held so they can be vibrated independent of the chamber (2), and there is a vibrator (28) attached to the adjusting device which can vibrate the plates as the chamber remains at rest.
