Abstract

1. Bubble mat for use with bathtubs, which is capable of being connected to the compressed aire outlet of an air compressor by means of an air hose and which, in the longitudinal direction, is subdivided into several inserted parts (10', 10", 10"') in which air hoses provided with bubble openings are secured in receiving grooves (11', 11", 11"') extending in the longitudinal direction of said dubble mat, with said air hoses being switchable by means of a compressed-air distributor and form an articulated connection between said inserted parts (10', 10", 10"'), characterized in that for permitting the optional use of said bubble mat as a sparkling-air mat, said individual inserted parts (10', 10", 10"') are each provided with a removable covering hood (40) made from a porous, fine-pored material, with said covering hood (40) receiving said inserted part (10', 10", 10"') by sealing it tightly on all sides by means of elastic rim portions (15), bracing themselves on the vertical rim portions (12', 17' ; 12", 17" ; 12"', 17"') of said inserted part (10', 10", 10"').
