Abstract

Support for a pre-inked stamp having an adjustable stroke, comprising a handle (10), a fixed base (20) intended to be applied to a substrate to be printed, and a stamp carrier (30) movable together with the said handle (10) in an axial direction of displacement, the said stamp carrier (30) being, on the one hand, maintained in a position retracted into a cavity (21) of the said base (20) under the action of an elastic return means (40) and, on the other hand, brought into contact with the said substrate to be printed as a result of the axial displacement of the handle (10) over a given stroke. According to the invention, the said support likewise comprises a ring (50) for adjusting the stroke of the handle (10), the said ring possessing, on the one hand, a body (51) having the form of a cylinder of revolution and, on the other hand, a fixed stop means for limiting the axial displacement of the said handle (10), the said fixed stop means cooperating with a movable stop means (12) provided on the handle (10), at least one of the said stop means consisting of a helix of revolution of axis D, and the position of the said adjusting ring (50) being adjustable in rotation about its axis D.
