Abstract

The turbo-engine has a housing (1) in which is fitted a rotor shaft (2). Between the housing and the rotor shaft there is a dry gas sealing system (3) to which is applied seal gas on the side away from the housing and seal air on the side towards the housing. The gas-air mixture existing in front of the gas sealing system on the external housing side is drawn through an outlet (14) leading out of the housing (1) via the air intake pipe of an associated gas engine. The latter thus conveys the seal air through the turbo-engine and also uses the leaked gas as a combustion gas.
