Abstract

The invention relates to a storage and transporting means in the form of a box (1) which has a bottom (2) constructed in the manner of a pallet and surrounded on three sides by a grille wall (3). This device is to be developed further in such a way that it can receive the widest variety of products, that these products can be transported in said box by lifting and conveying devices of any type whilst complying with safety regulations, and that the products received in it can be stacked. This is achieved in that a grille (13) which closes the open fourth side of the box in the transporting state is assigned to the lifting or conveying device (7) carrying out the transportation.
