Abstract

The ventilator has an intake channel (1) and a baffle wall (5), which is located above it and at right angles to the longitudinal centre plane of the channel. Wall and channel are of the same width. A pair of flaps (6) are pivoted about an axis (7) near the baffle wall, and are connected to an adjusting drive (8). In one extreme position, the flaps divide the gas flow coming out of the channel in a V-shape. In a second extreme position, the flaps close the channel. The flaps are double-armed, and the shorter arms (11) are at an obtuse angle to the longer arms (12).
