Process for galvanising iron and steel products according to which coating of the said products is performed by dipping in a molten bath of zinc alloy, characterised in that the said alloy contains, in percentages by weight, 1 to 3.5 % of magnesium, 0.5 to 1.5 % of aluminium and 0.0010 to 0.0060 % of silicon.
