This press device comprises several individual presses with which the top side can be pressed in the direction of the underside of the glued beam. This laminated-wood press apparatus is distinguished by the fact that the abutment device (48) has several abutments which are adjustably mounted on at least one of the holding devices (30) in such a way that the abutments (48) can be put into as accurate a position as possible along a curved line (14).
