Abstract

The invention relates to a flap drive for shut-off flaps for shutting off flue gas ducts of large cross section. This flap drive has an angle lever (6) arranged on the drive shaft (4) for the respective shut-off flap (1), which lever is operated by two cylinder/ piston arrangements (7, 8), the piston rods (13, 14) of which are articulated on one or the other lever end (6a, 6b) on the one hand and at fixed points (9, 10) on the other hand. In this way a high torque is successfully transmitted and a 180 DEG rotary movement produced although the cylinder/piston arrangements (7, 8) are simple low-cost linear cylinders. <IMAGE>
