Abstract

In order to produce, by spinning, a workpiece of a material which is non-malleable at room temperature, a heated mandrel (24) is used which is equipped on the inside with an electrical resistance element (46) surrounded by a diffuser (48). The heating temperature of the mandrel (24) is adjusted by a regulator (66) placed in a unit (26) which rotates with the mandrel.
