Abstract

An insulating slab (1) which can be fixed on roof laths and is intended for the construction of an under-roof for a sloping roof which is covered by individual elements is described. The insulating slab consists of a plane-parallel ridge-side slab part (1; 11) and of an eaves-side wedge-shaped slab part (2; 12). On laying the insulating slabs, the underside (2a; 12a) of an eaves-side slab part (2; 12) is laid in an overlapping manner on the upper side (1a; 11a) of the ridge-side slab part (1; 11) of an adjacent insulating slab. A recess which is made on the underside of the insulating slab in the form of a step (8; 18) serves for laying the slab on a roof lath. The upper side (1a; 11a) of the ridge-side slab part (1; 11) lies in one plane with the underside (2a; 12a) of the eaves-side slab part (2; 12). Projecting away from the upper side (1a; 11a) of the plane-parallel ridge-side slab part (1; 11) is a step (3; 13), from the upper edge of which the inclined upper side (4/4; 14/15) of the wedge-shaped eaves- side slab part (2; 12) starts. <IMAGE>
