   Die bisher verwendeten Serviettenpressen haben den Nachteil, dass der Raum über der Grundplatte durch die angehobene Pressplatte schlecht zugänglich ist und überdies durch Herabgleiten der   Pressplatte   Verletzungen der Hände des Benützers nicht ausgeschlossen sind. Beim Gegenstand der Erfindung sind diese Nachteile dadurch vermieden, dass die Pressplatte mit ihren Spindeln schwenkbar angeordnet ist.
