Ausserdem können auch grosse Flächen schraffiert oder rastriert werden. Durch entsprechende Anordnung und Versetzung der Arme 10 und 13 kann man auch Achter oder Eiformen zeichnen. Soll die Führungsvorrichtung für eine gänzlich willkürliche Zeichnung verwendet werden, so wird der Arm 13 unter Hinweglassung der Arme 10 unmittelbar auf den Säulen 7 angebracht und die Stifte 2 werden zurückgezogen, so dass Verschiebung der Vorrichtung in jeder beliebigen Richtung ermöglicht ist.
