Description

Holding device for moving electrical cables on plug sockets, With the usual electrical plug connections for connecting moving cables, the problem arises that the plug has no specific place when not in use, but is somehow put aside or thrown with the end of its cord. This easily causes damage to the connectors, especially since they are made of fragile material; Furthermore, the connection cord suffers and finally the plug is not quickly at hand when switching on. It is therefore often preferred to leave plug connections switched on while energized, although this may result in a short circuit and risk of fire in the often no longer fully-fledged movable cables. On the other hand, one is z.

   B. with irons, saucepans, etc. usually relies on temporarily loosening the plug, and then has no proper place to store it.

The present invention is intended to counteract these deficiencies by creating a properly, convenient, well-arranged resting position for the plug that is gentle on the plug and the connected cord, i.e. also special devices on the socket (often embedded in the wall) or on the wall itself makes unnecessary and replaces the installation of special switches in the fixed line.

This is done by attaching a support pin that can be inserted into the junction box or several support pins that are expediently assembled into one body (e.g. clamped or tied) on the movable cord near the plug, by means of which the plug is closed. stood by inserting the support pin in openings in the box, especially in its contact sleeves, can be held on the junction box.

You can then even keep the usual, normalized connector constructions unchanged, and also set up the cable support pin so that it can be used in the same way for all types of cable cords, especially those with exposed cable wrapping and those with shared sheathing, and easily by anyone without Tools, even afterwards, can be attached.

Line support pins with a grooved head, and possibly also with several different grooves, in which the cord or the individual wires can be inserted, are particularly advantageous and simple. Support pins with a slotted head can also be used.

The shape of the support pin to be inserted into the can is generally based on the can openings, in particular on the contacts in the can, and is therefore appropriately based on the shapes of the contact pins.

In the accompanying drawing, in Fig. 1a and 1b, the arrangement of a support pin t in the movable cord 1 near the plug s is shown for a flat iron p, u. between switched on (a) and switched off (b) plug.

Figure 2 illustrates a grooved head support pin; it is made slightly wedge-shaped or conical for the purpose of a good fit in its shaft.
