Der Gegenstand vorliegender Erfindung betrifft eine Kontaktanordnung für elektrische Fernmeldeapparate, insbesondere Fernsprechapparate, die mit zusätzlichen Apparaten mechanisch und über Steckkontakte, Messerkontakte od. dgl. auch elektrisch verbunden werden. Die Erfindung bezweckt eine besonders einfache und zweckmässige Verbindungseinrichtung hiefür.
Bisher bestand der Übelstand, dass die Fernmeldeapparate, je nachdem, ob sie in unmittelbarem Zusammenbau mit Zusatzapparaten oder ohne solche Verwendung finden sollten, betreffs ihrer Anschlussklemmen verschiedenartig ausgebildet waren. Im ersteren Falle wurden sie mit isolierten Steckkontakten, Messerkontakten od. dgl. in der üblichen Weise versehen, während im zweiten Falle die Anschlussklemmen einfache Anschlussschrauben aufwiesen. Es war daher nicht möglich, denselben Apparat ohne teilweisen Umbau für beide Zwecke zu verwenden. Eine einheitliche Ausführung des Apparates konnte nur dann erreicht werden, wenn er von vornherein beide Anschlussarten erhielt, was jedoch wiederum den Nachteil hatte, dass die jeweils unbenutzt bleibenden Anschlüsse die Kosten des Apparates zwecklos vergrösserten.
Gemäss der Erfindung werden nun diese Nachteile dadurch beseitigt, dass die Kontakte des zusätz- liehen Apparates mit dem Hauptapparat über besondere Gegenkontakte in Eingriff gebracht werden, die zu einem besonderen Zwischenglied vereinigt sind, das mittels der Anschlussklemmenschrauben des Hauptapparates an diesem befestigt wird.
Dieses Zwischenglied besteht zweckmässig aus einer Isolationsplatte, an welcher die als Steckoder Messerkontakte ausgebildeten Gegenkontakte befestigt sind.
Ein Ausführungsbeispiel des Gegenstandes der Erfindung ist an einer Fernsprechtischstation von vorn und von der Seite gesehen in den Fig. 1 und 2 gezeigt. Die Station, auf deren Bauart und Einrichtung es im einzelnen nicht ankommt, ist nur strichpunktiert dargestellt. Sie ist mit Schaltvorrichtungen für zwei Amtsanschlüsse sowie mit dem hiezu gehörigen zweiten Anrufweeker, Kondensator usw. in der Weise ausgerüstet, dass die zusätzlichen Apparate in einem für die Haupt-Fernsprechtischstation passenden, sockelartigen Unterbau angeordnet sind.
Von der Fernsprechstation sind nur die Kappe a des Gehäuses und die Grundplatte b gezeigt.
Der zusätzliche Apparat besteht aus dem sockelartigen Unterbau e, auf welchem die Kappe a mit ihrer ebenfalls sockelartigen Grundplatte b ruht. Diese Platte trägt an ihrer Unterseite, an einer Klemmenleiste e befestigt, Anschlussschrauben d. An einer Isolationsplatte f des Unterbaues c sind U-förmige Steckkontaktfedern gangeordnet.
Die zu diesen Kontaktfedern gehörigen Gegenkontakte k sind zu einem besonderen Zwischenglied vereinigt, das für den Zusammenbau des Haupt-undZusatzapparates mittels der Anschluss- klemmenschrauben d am Hauptapparat befestigt wird. Dieses Zwischenglied besteht aus einer Isolationsplatte h, an der die Steckkontakte k befestigt sind. Diese bestehen aus Blechstreifen mit einem U-förmig gestalteten Befestigungsteil u und einer winklig hievon abgebogenen Kontaktzunge k.

The subject matter of the present invention relates to a contact arrangement for electrical telecommunications apparatus, in particular telephone apparatus, which are mechanically connected to additional apparatus and also electrically via plug contacts, blade contacts or the like. The invention aims at a particularly simple and useful connecting device for this.
So far, there has been the disadvantage that the telecommunications equipment, depending on whether they are to be used in direct assembly with additional equipment or without such use, were designed differently with regard to their connection terminals. In the first case they were provided with insulated plug contacts, blade contacts or the like in the usual way, while in the second case the connection terminals had simple connection screws. It was therefore not possible to use the same device for both purposes without partial modification. A uniform design of the device could only be achieved if it received both types of connection from the outset, which, however, had the disadvantage that the connections that remained unused in each case uselessly increased the costs of the device.
According to the invention, these disadvantages are now eliminated in that the contacts of the additional loaned apparatus are brought into engagement with the main apparatus via special mating contacts which are combined to form a special intermediate member which is attached to the main apparatus by means of the connecting terminal screws.
This intermediate member expediently consists of an insulation plate to which the mating contacts designed as plug or blade contacts are attached.
An embodiment of the subject matter of the invention is shown in FIGS. 1 and 2 at a telephony desk station viewed from the front and from the side. The station, the design and equipment of which does not matter in detail, is only shown in phantom. It is equipped with switching devices for two exchange connections as well as the associated second call week, capacitor, etc. in such a way that the additional devices are arranged in a base-like substructure that fits the main telephone desk station.
Of the telephone station only the cap a of the housing and the base plate b are shown.
The additional apparatus consists of the pedestal-like substructure e on which the cap a rests with its likewise pedestal-like base plate b. This plate has connection screws d on its underside, fastened to a terminal strip e. U-shaped plug contact springs are arranged on an insulation plate f of the substructure c.
The mating contacts k belonging to these contact springs are combined to form a special intermediate member, which is fastened to the main apparatus by means of the connecting terminal screws d for the assembly of the main and additional apparatus. This intermediate member consists of an insulation plate h to which the plug contacts k are attached. These consist of sheet metal strips with a U-shaped fastening part u and a contact tongue k bent at an angle from this.
